MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a wreck on Interstate 294 Tuesday afternoon near St. Francis, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident happened on the eastbound highway at East St. Francis Avenue and was first reported just before 2:30 p.m.
While no information regarding the cause or nature of the crash has been shared, the right eastbound lane remained blocked for over 20 minutes.

By 2:53 p.m., crews had removed the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were announced reopened.
