OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle wreck Wednesday morning blocked part of Wisconsin State Highway 47 in both directions near north Appleton, according to 511 Wisconsin.

The collision took place at the intersection with County Highway O, or Mackville Road, in the Mackville area. It was first recorded by 511 at 6:40 a.m.

At this time, authorities have not provided further details regarding the cause of the crash or the involved vehicles, but both northbound and southbound lanes of WIS-47 were shut down.

As of 11:00 a.m., more than four hours later, no updates on scene conditions have been issued.

It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
