WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — One person was injured Monday, December 4, when their vehicle was partially struck by a train in Brookfield, according to TMJ4.
The accident happened in the area of Calhoun Road and Pheasant Drive, at about 3:00 p.m.
Brookfield Police said the victim was driving northbound when they stopped partially on the southern tracks as another train passed westbound on the northern tracks. At one point, the stopped vehicle was hit by an eastbound train.
First responders rushed the driver and sole occupant to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
