MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI — A 22-year-old woman died Wednesday morning after a pedestrian crash on Wisconsin State Highway 67 in Kiel, according to NBC26.
The fatal incident occurred at the intersection with Persnickety Place. Local police, firefighters, and EMS personnel all responded to the scene shortly after 10:00 a.m.
While the circumstances of the event remain unclear, authorities confirmed the young woman, whose identity is being withheld, was struck by a vehicle.
First responders had the victim transported by medical helicopter, but she succumbed to her injuries.
No information regarding the driver or pending charges has been released as of this writing.
